"Generally there are a few ways to do so. But basically all ways are the same.

    1) First you are to break the little thingies to the left and right of the contacts, shown below. Use a knife or a sharp object. But for your safety be very careful not to cut yourself, or ask a responsible person to do it for you.

2)Continue to cut around it to open it until it looks someting like this:

3)Then cut the contacts that are attatched so they all look like this:

    4) Connect the contacts you need with a #2 pencil shown below:

    5) There you have it. Just close it tape it or however you wish to keep it.

Note: Instead of doing step 3 you can just connect all the contacts. After doing so place electrical tape over the contacts you do not need.

This method can be applied not only to Advanced PET Chips. This method also works for Progress & Link chips. Very probably also for Plug-in Chips."

This was found on PET-World Board. Thanks to Carda for finding the link.

Huh? Could you please try to stay on topic and don't spam? I'm just about to consider this kind of post spamming because this is about modding chips, not laughing and making chips. Very Happy
